Our client, MNC FMCG / Healthcare Company, Is looking for the following;   Position Title : Area Sales Manager  Location : Chennai  Reporting to : Regional Sales Manager.  Main Responsibilities:   - Reaching the primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned Area and Distributors   - Responsible for Distributors Management including appointing new ones   - Develops Sales plans to achieve or exceed month/annual sales objectives for the region   - Responsible to hire, motivate, coach and retain the team of Sales Officers   - Work together with SOs in the market and give on the job training   - Coordination with Medical Regional Manager, Medical Reps, CFAs, distributors and outlets   - Analyses the territory/market's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer's value to the organization.   - Organize a Monthly meeting with his/her team and Medical team   - Organize regular meetings with Distributors in order to follow up results and build a monthly action plan.   - Regular and timely reporting along pre-defined formats to relevant internal stake-holders   - Track competition activities monthly. Document and communicate the same to the marketing & sales management team in the monthly review meeting.   Education Background :   - MBA / PGDM from Top Institutes of 2012,2013 Batch from FMCG / F&B Only.  Skills Needed (Technical) :   - Extensive market knowledge of the assigned region   - Proven presentation, communication & negotiation skills   - Demonstrable and proven recent history of success in sales   - Good interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently collaborate with different stakeholders   - The ability to motivate and lead a team   - Planning & analytical skills, ability for taking decisions in complex situations.   Experience Needed (Professional) :   - At least 2-4 years of FMCG sales experience is mandatory   - Should have strong experience in handling Distributors   Core Functional Competencies to be successful on the job :  - Committed with the results and objectives .  - Transparent and honest.  - Persistent!
