Area Sales Manager - FMCG/Consumer Care - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Are you a dynamic sales professional with a proven track record in FMCG? We are looking for a result-driven Area Sales Manager to join a rapidly growing consumer goods company. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing distribution channels, and leading a team of motivated sales officers.

Responsibilities

1. Achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned area.

2. Drive primary and secondary sales volumes.

3. Expand distribution networks and meet infrastructure targets.

4. Lead and manage a team of sales officers, motivating them to achieve business objectives.

5. Execute local sales promotion schemes, visibility campaigns, and new product launches.

6. Monitor and manage budgets effectively.

7. Ensure smooth depot operations, including claims management and compliance.

8. Analyze and report on competition and sales performance through MIS.

Requirements:

1. 2-3 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager, preferably from a premier B-school.

2. Proven ability in handling teams of sales officers and frontline representatives.

3. Expertise in general trade, standalone supermarkets, and wholesale channels.

4. Strong understanding of the Delhi market (mandatory).

5. Experience in the personal care market is an added advantage.
