Title: Area Sales Manager
Responsibilities And Duties:
- Provide direction to the strategic, commercial and brand agenda across the entire business through various sales channels.
- Achievement of business plan.
- Channel & Distribution management.
- Responsible for driving dealer sales, trade sales.
- Ensure relationship building with distributors and key accounts Analyze business potential, conceptualize and execute strategies to drive sales, augment turnover and achieve desired targets.
- Team development.
- Optimize cost and utilization of manpower and other resources.
- Work closely with marketing teams and finance teams.
- Represent the company at various forums to promote the company products and brand.
- To build, manage direct sales as well as distributor network.
- Preparation of annual budgets and business plan for the market.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and contribute effectively to the overall business strategy of the company.
- Identifying right partners and appointing them as distributors, setting budgets for them, pricing structure etc.
- Revenue generation and receivable management you may be required to travel to other locations of the company or to our customer locations for shorter durations on business.
- The role requires travel to other locations of the company or to our customer/distributer locations for shorter durations on business.
Qualification:
- MBA - Marketing & Sales
- You have at least 3+ years experience within a Area sale manager or sales manager or territory sales manager role, ideally within the FMCG and Beverage industry.
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- You are willing to undertake 30-60% travel.
