Job Title / Designation -Area Sales Manager (Retail)
Job Location-Pune
Area of Operation -Maharashtra (Excluding Mumbai & Viderbha )
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of Sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of the area within allocated accounts
- Continuously monitor competitor activities, conduct competitor analysis, keep abreast of market trends
- Monitor the performance of distributor within the area. Identify issue and take action to deal with them
- Achieve primary and secondary sales ensuring effective distribution of Company's products
- Reach out to new set of customers through expansion into new geographies and new market segment
- Propose sales promotion plan/schemes to the sales head and successfully implement sales support activities to generate and close new leads
- Implement contact management strategies and regular meetings with distributors
- Design and implement specific sales activities ensure right mix of sales - focus on equity, and high margin debt schemes
- Recruiting competent sales people for his team
- Focus on all round development of sales team by training, continuously motivating, rewarding their performances and deal firmly with non-performances
Qualifications-Graduate (any discipline).
MBA/PG in Sales & Marketing/Business Management will be preferred
Volume of Business-1 CR per Month
Experience Band- 8 to 10 years in FMCG industry ( 5 to 6 Years at supervisory level)
Experience specific to any organization/sector
Relevant experience in FMCG- Home and Personal care segment
