KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Should be necessarily from FMCG sector only.
- Responsible for supervising sales team at the assigned territory. Provides leadership, guidance and customer product expertise to the sales team. Meets or exceeds established sales goals through the implementation of sales activities.
- Establishes team and individual sales goals and provides effective coaching of sales representatives to consistently improve their performance.
- Assists sales representatives with questions and supports customers requiring additional assistance. Leads specific sales events or projects to improve sales performance.
- Works closely with sales manager to implement annual/quarterly sales plan and necessary changes required to achieve objectives.
- To head a state or a part of large state in delivering objectives of the FMCG business through a large team of sales executive (10-12 per head) and distributors in his area
- To design and execute the strategy for his/her area along with the Regional Sales Manager
- To work along with Regional Sales Manager to identify various links in the distribution chain (distributors, retailers etc) in his area and appoint them.
- Someone from FMCG, preferably bakery category MBA / non MBA candidate with 4-8 years of experience and someone who has relevant experience in managing GT in an area as an Area Sales Manager.
