Area managers are responsible generating revenue from an assigned geographical location by implementing and executing strategies to achieve sales targets. They manage and lead a team of Area Executives and channel partners, drive distribution metrics and ensure optimum infrastructure deployment in their assigned territory.
Reporting Relationship:
1st Level: Assistant Manager - Sales
2nd Level: Branch Manager
Responsibilities
- Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory.
- Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team.
- Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Engaging with distributors to identify challenges and helping in resolution
- Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers
- Ensuring adherence to systems and processes on the field
