As an ASM, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and increase the revenue for your area. This process will require you to work with a team of sales managers who will be under your wing. You will also need to ensure that they are meeting their targets and are keeping their clients happy.The role needs you to have a high level of leadership and responsibility, so that you can manage any challenge or crisis that drifts your way. We need someone who is comfortable working with a team, approachable, and solution oriented. In short - a sales guru.

Please note that this role requires constant intra city travel to meet clients (and prospective ones), so it helps to know your city inside out.

Responsibilities :

- Ensure and maintain the financial health of the area you are in charge of

- Manage the team to handle end to end client relationships, including pitching, negotiation, contracting, billing/invoicing, payment collection and troubleshooting

- Allocate targets, leads, track and monitor the work of each team member along with ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of their work

- Maintain area reports which include revenue numbers, payment collections and evaluation of team performance and reporting the same to the Sales/Business Head of the city

- Hire and retain Sales employees for the area by being approachable

- Acquire and manage critical client accounts which have a higher degree of complexity in terms of client servicing

Requirements :

- 6 -10 years of relevant work experience. An MBA is not mandatory

- Prior team management experience is a must

- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets. Allocation of targets and formulating incentive plans to the team would be a bonus!

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as the local language

- Highly organized, detail oriented and has the ability to multi task

- At ease with managing and working in large, multi cultural teams

- Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictable work hours

- High EQ
