Area Sales Manager (CPG) - GlobalStrategy Consulting Firm - Contractual Role
- Our client, a global strategy consulting firm is engaged in a large-scale transformation exercise for an Indian CPG player. The consulting firm has completed the strategy design and is now focused on executing it in multiple Indian cities in central and eastern India.
- They are looking for Consultants that would work in the capacity of an Area Sales Manager to help set up local sales units, processes, and systems, and help recruit distributors for traditional trade for a period of 6 months.
- The appointed consultant must set up traditional trade operations in East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, West Bengal, and Jharkhand. The chosen consultant will need to travel to any one of these regions on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
Below summarizes the role :
- Develop business / GTM strategies to achieve business objectives
- Ownership of all allocated tasks by applying a project management framework for their effective delivery
- Present findings and recommendations to clients
- Implement recommendations or solutions and ensure the client receives the necessary assistance
- Effective governance and controls (reporting, budget, risk, and issue management)
- Manage the overall module while working with the rest of the team
- Effective communication and senior stakeholder management
Experience needed :
5-10 years of experience as an area sales manager
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 6-months contract.
