About Our Client: Our Client is a leading brand in the Indian commercial vehicle industry. For the Indian tipper market, Our Client supplies the complete hydraulics for tipper trucks or tip trailers, in globally accepted top quality hydraulic components like power take off, pumps, tipping valve, air control valves, etc. These components are either manufactured at their plant(s) or designed and developed for them by its worldwide supplier base.

Job Designation: Area Sales Manager

Number of Position(s): 2

Qualification: Diploma/BE - Mechanical

Experience: 8 to 10

Job Responsibilities :

- Should be responsible for Sales of the company's Special Products like Hydraulic Tail Lift, Hook Loader, Truck Mounted Crane etc. to Institutional Pvt. / Govt. customer.

- To explore the prospective customers / generate enquiries / Sales

- Monitoring the Dealership Network and working towards up-gradation of their performance

- To work towards growth of Sales of spare parts

- Identify potential market (Govt./PSU/Corporate/Private Sector), mapping their requirements and conducting techno-commercial presentations for New business Development.

- Set targets with short term and long term action plans,

- Managing activities pertaining to tendering, negotiating/ finalization of deals and order processing.

- Drive for retrofitting business model,

- Convince decision makers with end users/consultants/OEM,

- Change strategies to suit market dynamics,

- Decide pricing and discounting strategies,

- Gathering market intelligence in terms of competition

- Create justification and arguments against competition

- Training sales people in terms of value based marketing & arranging site training Programme for operator & site in charge,

- Brand building activities,

- Participating in seminars and making presentations,

- Organizing customer meets,

- Over viewing after market activities from sales perspective,

- Customer intimacy & confidence building,

- Handling activities relating to inspection, dispatch (shipping) & clearance of the machinery.

Skills/Expertise:

Should have clear understanding of Construction Equipment Products

Previous working experience with Construction Equipment Companies or Materials Handling Equipment Companies or Hydraulics Companies

Should be excellent in Communication (written & verbal) skill and Presentation Skill
