Area Sales Manager in Chandigarh for a leading MNC premium building material company

We are a leading, professionally managed Executive Search organization that identifies Senior Talent for our clients who are World-Renowned MNCs & Indian Enterprises across diverse verticals. We do placements across functions and India.

Our client is a European premium building materials company with a range of lifestyle interior solutions and high-end building materials products. Our clients are looking for experienced and proven sales professionals (who are strong in solutions and concept selling) to join their team to lead a team and head sales operations for North India. The position involves extensive market visits, contacting consultants and architects, concept selling, and selling through dealer networks.

Client Details:

1. European company into lifestyle interiors and building materials products with established Global brands

2. Products are endorsed by top designers and architects of India.

2. Having a factory in Bangalore and applying for ISO

3. Growing at 100% per annum last 2 years

4. Process-oriented and progressive work culture

Job Description:

1. Promote the lifestyle of interior building materials and products to architects, Contractors, Builders, and fabricators. Identify and prioritize potential customers within the assigned area.

2. Promote and sell the company's building materials and products within a designated geographic area to achieve sales targets and build strong customer relationships.

3. Achieve achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

4. Generate leads, prospect new clients, and convert leads into sales opportunities.

5. Scout and visit sites and new dealers.

6. Gather and analyze competitor information to formulate effective sales strategies.

7. Follow-ups of payment.

8. Launch new products.

9. Coordinate with customers and send the requirements to the design team for drawings, measurements, and quotations.

10. Update project lists.

11. Recruit and train team members.

Candidate Profile:

1. Graduates / MBAs with 12 to 20 years of experience in Building Materials, including Wood Panels, Flooring, Tiles, Ply, Paints, Bathroom Fitting, Wall Paper (Premium Architectural Products)

2. Good experience in concept selling

3. Good contacts with Architects

4. Strong experience in selling through dealer networks

The position is based in Chandigarh and is expected to be closed in the next four weeks.
