Primary Responsibility:
- The Area Sales Manager (Regional Liability Head) is responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of CASA (Current Account and Savings Account) & CEP (Corporate Employee Program) Personal Bankers.
- The focus is on achieving productivity goals as outlined in the scorecard, which includes revenue generation, balance growth, and the acquisition of new accounts, particularly Corporate Salary Accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and lead a team of CASA & CEP Personal Bankers to drive performance and productivity.
- Performance Management: Monitor and optimize individual productivity metrics, ensuring per person productivity, client activation, and effective cross-selling.
- Account Acquisition: Strategically acquire new current and savings accounts from the branch's catchment area.
- Corporate Engagement: Source quality salary accounts through established relationships with corporate clients.
- Account Activation: Ensure newly opened accounts are activated, UPI linked, and that minimum balances are maintained, while also managing and increasing the wallet share of banking products such as insurance, mortgages, ULIPs, SIPs, and mutual funds.
- Corporate Inductions: Participate in corporate induction programs and migration events to enhance brand visibility and account acquisition.
- Internal Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage connections within the SME sector for potential leads.
- Marketing Initiatives: Conduct cost-effective micro-marketing activities in the catchment area to generate leads and enhance brand presence.

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in banking or financial services.
