Job Title - Area Sales Manager
Location - Chandigarh (Looking after Punjab, Haryana, J&K, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh)
Reports to - Regional Sales Managers, North
1. Key areas of accountability
- Formulating business plans for the state for managing top line growth in all BG
- Channel Management
- Managing and guiding the team to deliver desired results
- Setting up effective review systems for sales officers
- Managing Semi Urban Markets
- Creating processes that support the customers in realizing their interests (ROI as per Industry Standards, Claim Settlement, NPS)
- Reporting Competition activities and State performance to regional sales manager on monthly basis
2. Education:
- Undergraduates in any stream (Commerce/ Science etc.)
- MBA in Sales and Marketing from Tier 2 Business Schools – Batch of 2005 – 2007
- MBA in Sales and Marketing from Tier 1 Business Schools – Batch of 2007 – 2009
Sales volume: INR 600-700 million per year
Direct reports: 6 to 8
Indirect reports: 20 to 30
