Job Details:-

- Toothpaste manufacturing involves 2 core activities viz. Making & Finishing.

- In the Finishing Department, tubes/sachets are filled with cream/gel on the filling lines viz. Norden, IWKA, etc.

- A typical Finishing line comprises Robotic tube feeders, Sevo controlled fillers, cartooning, bundling, case packing and robotic palletising equipment working at high speed.Finishing Department deploys large number of team members as compared to any other functions in the factory.

- The Finishing operation is run in 3 shifts and to have proper coordination and control, this position is critical to achieve Plant KPIs.

- The Area leader is overall responsible for FP&R standard implementations, quality standard implementations, EOHS Standard implementations & people processes in the area.

- The greatest challenge for this role is to have alignment of resources, maintain sustainable growth & consistency in operations.

Job Accountability

Continuous Improvement Projects:-

- Identification & implementation of projects, deciding timelines & resource allocation

Achievement of KPIs:-

- Requires coordinating with the 3 shifts. Understand key issue, downtimes, analyse with the team.

Coordination with Other functions:-

- Execution of continuous improvement programs, maintaining discipline, people capability, capital and operating budgets

FP&R, EOHS & Quality initiatives in the area:-

- Ensure adherence to standards as laid down.

Adherence to SOP’s:-

- Adherence to production processes and systems/SOP’s & regulatory requirements

- Project Implementation

- New Installations, EMOs, New products
