Job Description: SAP Lead - S/4 HANA Implementation (Pharma Industry)

Position Overview:

- Strides Pharma Sciences is seeking an experienced SAP Lead with expertise in S/4 HANA Implementation for the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the process industry, specifically in process engineering disciplines such as Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, or other process industry related fields.

- The role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical process industry, SAP systems, Project management, third-party integrations, and leading teams. You will also be responsible for handling user requirements, aligning with SAP digital transformations, and collaborating with Business process owners & CxO-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, aligning them with Strides Pharma Sciences' business needs, particularly for the pharmaceutical process industry.

- Gather, document, and manage user requirements, ensuring alignment with SAP's latest digital transformation capabilities and industry best practices.

- Oversee the implementation of SAP digital solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving business needs in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

- Manage and lead the SAP core team, providing direction, mentorship, and ensuring smooth execution of SAP projects.

- Collaborate with Business Process Owners & CxO-level stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives, ensure alignment of project goals with business priorities, and communicate project progress effectively.

- Integrate SAP with third-party systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and operational compatibility.

- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of SAP consultants, analysts, and developers, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of project milestones.

- Ensure that SAP implementation follows best practices for process industry standards, adhering to regulatory compliance requirements and operational needs.

- Assist in the change management process, helping teams adapt to new systems and processes post-implementation.

- Guide the team through user training and provide ongoing support to ensure the system is effectively utilized across the organization.

- Keep abreast of new SAP tools and technologies and advise the business on their potential application in driving digital transformation and innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Masters degree in chemical engineering, Production Engineering, or any other process industry-related engineering field.

Experience:

- At least 12 to 15 of hands-on experience in SAP, specifically in S/4 HANA implementations, SCM related project experience(Good to have-SCM-IBP Implementations).

- Pharma Industry domain experience of minimum of 3 to 5 years.

- Strong background in the process industry, especially within the pharmaceutical sector, with a deep understanding of industry-specific regulations, CSA compliance, CFR Part 11 and operational challenges.

- Proven experience in gathering and managing user requirements, ensuring these are translated into effective SAP solutions.

- Familiarity with SAP digital transformation tools, including SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Integration Suite, SAP Analytical dashboards.

- Hands-on experience leading SAP core teams, managing cross-functional resources, and ensuring the team works cohesively towards project success.

- Project management expertise, with a strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the ability to manage complex SAP projects.

- Experience working with CxO-level executives, translating business needs into technical solutions, and presenting project progress and outcomes.
