Candidate must be having good experience on application, tuning, monitoring.

Job Location : Pune

Experience : 7-13 yrs.

Performance Architect

Role:

The candidate will work with product management and development team for performance testing and analysis of a solution and will:

- Understand the solution architecture/design and its performance requirements/SLAs

- Assume ownership of performance engineering engagements and deliverables

- Develop strategy and approach for simulating a real-time workload and measure software performance under workload

- Develop and execute automation suites (scripts/tests etc.)

- Instrument various layers of the software (and hardware) for monitoring their performance under load

- Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks in the solution and provide tuning recommendations (this includes the use of profilers like DynaTrace)

- Raise defects and guide architectural changes

- Assist in architecture design and analysis of high performance computing architectures such as grid computing, in-database computing

- Develop tools and utilities for monitoring and analysis of the solutions

Requirement:

- Performance Engineering background (Excellent knowledge of Loadrunner/Performance Center, understanding of profilers like DynaTrace, Performance Analysis and Tuning of Java based mid-tier or SAS or DB Servers)

- Excellent programming skills in any language (C,C++, Java ,SAS)

- Excellent understanding of multi-tier architecture and related performance concepts

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Excellent teamwork and ability to work closely with remote and local development teams

- Good project management skills

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or related engineering /MCS/MCA with 5 - 12 years of relevant experience
