We have an opportunity for an Architect- Oracle Exadata, Infrastructure for one of our MNC client, which provides IT Services and is one of the world's largest consulting, outsourcing and professional services company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oracle DB product Demos & hands-on workshops at customer locations, e.g. Oracle Exadata, RAC, OEM 12c / 11g, Oracle Advanced Security.
- Run customer POC / POV (Proof of Concept / Value), on Exadata with Oracle database 11gR2 / 12c, to facilitate customers make their final decision to purchase Oracle hardware / software.
- Liaison with product Management for features - advancement upon customer feedback. Creating & sharing reusable assets (whitepapers).Customer profiling for exploring potential sales opportunities.
- Training & mentoring Sales Representatives, Architects, DBA's, Developers, Managers on Exadata, Database Technologies & their Applications, Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, DataGuard & case-studies.
Technical & functional competencies:
- Migration windows to define priorities for the migration roadmap.
Current database dependencies to provide optimal architecture recommendations for an Oracle Exadata environment.
- Actual database performance characteristics and recommending changes to accommodate expected growth and service requirements.
- System management requirements (security, monitoring, software life cycle) to provide guidelines for Oracle Exadata deployment.
