Architect/Engineering Manager - Internet/Online

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and enhancing the Developer Guide to support various business use cases. You will work closely with tech team, participant communities, and other stakeholders for supporting adoption and successful implementation of the specifications. You would also be building utilities and functionalities to improve adoption.

Responsibilities :

- Enhance specification to support different business use cases, for products & services, in domains like agriculture, mobility, travel & tourism, etc.

- Drafting specifications and its elements Open API standards along with beckon protocol

- Support Tech Team in enhancing specifications in different areas, such as Payments & Settlements, Ratings, Inter-city logistics, and drive adoption of the protocols by the stakeholders, etc.

- Build utilities for optimal harmonization between different buyers & sellers on the network.

- Work with the participant community to improve experience and simplify the implementation of specification.

- Create POCs for ecosystems to demonstrate usage of the specification for specific business domains.

- Contribute to the specs on GitHub.

Qualification & Experiences :

- At least 4-6 years of hands-on experience in developing technologies for protocols - Open API, RESTful APIs, JSON.

- Excellent understanding of adapting protocols for different business domains e.g. adaptations required for retail e-commerce, mobility, agriculture.

- Working knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages such as Java, Nodejs, Python, Golang, etc.

- API development tools such as Swagger, source code versioning system such as GitHub

- Engineering degree required, with minimum qualification of BE / BTech / MTech / MCA

- Proficiency in developing with open APIs and creating transaction-level contracts.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Experience in working with participant communities and driving adoption of protocols is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with GitHub, Swagger Hub, and other collaboration tools for documentation and specification management.

- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges and ensure successful protocol implementation.
