The current requirement demands candidates to work on asset allocation models and build a regime based asset allocation strategy and build the tool. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of quantitative techniques decent knowledge of finance. Programming proficiency in one of the languages like VBA, R, Python etc. is a must.   Education Qualifications  B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc. Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Finance, Economics  Mandatory Skills  Excellent knowledge of quantitative techniques and good experience working with large amounts of data.  Hands-on programming experience in any programming language. Preferable - VBA, Python, R.  Decent knowledge of finance, but more important is the interest in learning finance.   Understanding of Financial and Capital Markets industry or Economics would be added advantage.  Work Responsibilities  Source financial, macro and micro economics data from public sources and from databases  Read research papers in Finance and Economics   Build proof of concept analytical models in Excel with formulas and basic code  Develop stand-alone models based on the concepts developed.  Work on other regular support required by the client, whenever required.
