Aranca - Manager/Senior Manager - Credit Research

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Client accounts development and management

- Lead team of analysts and senior analysts working with fixed income and credit research clients on multiple projects. Provide guidance to teams and review or do quality checks on client deliverables

- Team management - Performing performance reviews, take up learning and development and team engagement activities

- Client engagement and stakeholder management

- Support/lead business development initiatives

SPECIFIC SKILL SET:

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of Special Situation/ High Yield/ Investment Grade is essential

- Experience in business & industry analysis and financial modelling & scenario analysis

- Ability to analyse capital structure and conduct waterfall analysis

- Knowledge on covenants, review legal documents

- Experience on relative valuation of bonds

- Exposure to recovery and sensitivity analysis

- Proven multi-client management experience

- Proven credit note writing skills

Client Management Skills:

- Experience in working on pilot projects and managing new client accounts

- Be a trouble shooter and provide effective solutions to the clients

- Fast learner and ability to work under pressure environment

- Strong interpersonal skills to deal with different stakeholders

- Positive attitude and motivated

Support for Business Development:

- Writing short content pieces on market developments

- Ability to work with sales teams on new content idea

- Identifying new approaches to penetrate fixed income market

People Management:

- Team player, lead teams for multiple projects

- Mentor, motivate and guide team members for performance & productivity improvement

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Functional Requirements:

- MBA Finance or CA; CFA/FRM will be an added advantage

- 10+ years' experience in fixed income research

- Strong experience in analytical writing

- Adept at MS Excel

- Knowledge of Python or other programing languages in a plus

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated
