Aranca - Manager - Equity Research

Project and client management:

Assume leadership role to manage and execute capital markets research projects for Aranca clients covering areas such as:

Fundamental and quantitative research for equity markets and corporate finance (investment banking & private equity) - involving financial modeling, report writing, presentations

Other research areas addressing specific client requests and compiling diagnostic / strategic analytical studies / thematic white papers, research / analysis for specific topics

Operational responsibility for project teams, including review of & guidance to teams and QC on projects, ensuring high scores on customer satisfaction surveys

Manage client relationships, and assist management team in identifying / developing opportunities to grow the relationship

Ensure compliance of research team to project management systems such as timesheets etc.

People Management:

Be an effective leader that the team members can emulate

Responsible for developing strong working relationships with team members (research analysts, assistant managers) to ensure they are sufficiently motivated and connected with you

Identifying their skill sets as well as areas of strengths and improvements

Charting career path for members and provide guidance and coaching

Addressing people issues (conflicts, discipline, behavior etc)

Learning and Development:

Responsible for identifying training needs of team members

Coordinating with training SPOCs in developing new training modules, deliver existing training modules and process improvement initiatives

Identify self-learning and growth opportunities

Research insights contribution:

Support Aranca Investment Research team's efforts in developing inhouse research insights through articles, blog updates, infographics and other forms through own contribution as well as encouraging/coordinating team members to contribute through their content writeups

Business Development Support (to senior management):

Display Aranca's capabilities on various platforms to prospective and existing clients through creation of sanitized work samples and case studies out of existing projects
