Technical Recruiter - IT is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting IT professionals to meet the organization/Client project's staffing needs. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their technical staffing requirements and employing various recruitment strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify potential IT candidates.
- Candidate Screening: Review resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization.
- Technical Assessment: Administer technical assessments or coordinate technical interviews to assess candidates' proficiency in relevant technologies and software development languages.
- Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand their technical staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Job Postings: Create compelling job descriptions and post job openings on various job boards and platforms.
- Candidate Engagement: Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth interview process.
- Offer Negotiation: Assist in salary negotiations and the presentation of job offers to selected candidates.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other relevant databases.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor recruitment practices to remain competitive in attracting IT talent.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech-IT/MBA, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a technical recruiter in the IT industry.
- Knowledge of IT roles and technologies, including software development, systems administration, network engineering, and database management.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
