The ESG Data Team

We drive Arabesque S-Ray's data team and are responsible for investigating and assessing core ESG risks + opportunities faced by companies in the Arabesque S-Ray rating universe. We are looking for new passionate, competent, and technically skilled team members who like to work in a collaborative environment to innovate, advance, and contribute to the development of the S-Ray- technology. You will be part of the ESG Data Team and work on a wide variety of projects with a focus on ESG, climate, corporate governance, and sustainability data. In this, your main responsibility will be managing the India data team, ensure we maintain best in class standards, and support the future product development across S-Ray.

Requirements

We are looking to hire for a leadership position with experience and/or expertise in ESG data, climate change, and sustainability data to join our team and contribute to Arabesque's global growth. You will be responsible and accountable for contributing to grow Arabesque S-Ray's data products and for ensuring high content quality.

You Are Expected To:

- Be an expert in handling ESG, climate, and sustainability data

- Manage a team of ES data based in New Delhi

- Support onboarding, training and learning & development activities for the team

- Maintain our high data quality standards by implementing leading QA practices, increasing system-based checks and improving the team's workflow

- Review and sign off on high profile research, involvements and controversies

- Applying knowledge and expertise to sourcing of new data sources

- Identify opportunities for improving efficiencies in the content generation process

- Liaise with Global Head of Sustainable Investing & ESG Research

- Liaise with Global Head of Business Development & Revenues

- Liaise with HR department on recruitment / selection of new staff

- Liaise with Product Development Office on client feedback and demand

- Participate in industry conferences and act as an Arabesque ambassador

We Are Keen To Hire Professionals Who

- Have minimum 10-year experience in ESG data and ratings research, asset management research, asset owner or investment consultant research, think tanks focused sustainability, or academic research institutes

- Understand the reasoning behind integrating sustainability information in the capital allocation process for institutional investors

- Are motivated and passionate about solving market problems and building innovative solutions

- Have experience in leading teams and working across time zones

- Possess an excellent command of the English language-speaking and writing

- Are not afraid of new empirical challenges and learning a new area of expertise

- Possess excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite

- Are motivated and passionate about sustainable finance

- Enjoy hands-on work with ESG data and embrace change
