Analyse the various aspects of public finance and formulate action plans for optimization and implementation. i. Government Revenues: Potential, cost of collection, economic distortions, etc. ii. Government Expenditure: Overall quality, effectiveness, efficiency and equity, etc. and socio-economic cost benefit analysis. iii. Budget optimization with respect to reducing gap between estimated and actual, etc. iv. Cash flow analysis with respect to duration in which payments are made, revenue inflow and expenditure outflow, etc. v. Debt management with regard to sustainability indicators and cost of debt. B. Assist the Department in analyzing various departmental proposals that have significant impact on public finances. C. Undertake perspective financial planning for the short, medium and long term in terms of key fiscal indicators. D. Study the processes of Financial Management, Budgetary Control, Financial Reporting and suggest improvements as necessary. Academic / Professional Qualifications : PG Degree/Diploma in Public Finance/ Economics/ Business Management/ Public Policy from premier institution Other expectations : Late working depending on urgency of work to be done / meeting delivery timelines &amp; travelling on need basis Gender specific, if any : Neutral on competitive Location : Vijayawada/ Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) &nbsp;It is desirable that the candidate would have prior experience of working with government/quasi government/PSU.
