Job Description:

Appster is seeking a highly motivated individual with a keen intellect and attention to detail to work in our Gurgaon, India Development Centre with a team of exceptionally talented Developers and Business Analysts.
You will use your years of experience to help guide the technical directionof all client projects, as well as AppsterX In-House projects. You will advise on what technologies to use and which emerging technologies to explore.

You will use your superior technical talents and skills to help mentorand advise other Developers and Freshers about the "right" way to develop software, sharing your knowledge of Design Patterns and Frameworks.

You wil be a contributor in our client "Rapid Concept Workshops" and advise on the feasibility of client business ideas, evaluate their technical risks and viability; and you will help translate these into achievable technical solutions.

You will be a leader our Quality Improvement initiatives and responsible for helping create code libraries, coding standards and code reviewing processes.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 4 - 6 years progressive experience and demonstrated success in the areas of software development, mobile application development, technical architecture, relational database and software design.

- The successful candidate will also be able to multi-task, learn quickly, adapt to change and provide thought leadership.

- You will be a “Specialising Generalist” who is a leader in your principal technology - either mobile based or server based.

- You will have a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of mobile and server based technologies having worked across many industries or systems.

You will have Specific technical experience in as many of the following as possible:

- iOS / Objective-C

- Android / Java

- PHP

- Java J2EE

- Ruby on Rails

- MySQL

- PostgreSQL

- MongoDB

- Hadoop

- Linux

- Amazon Web Services

- RESTful API’s

- DevOps

The successful candidate must also have exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

A knowledge of Agile Development Practices, such as Scrum and Kanban, is highly favourable.
