The devotion market is a $44B opportunity in India (growing at 10% CAGR), which is primarily offline and unorganised. Of the $44B, the temples drive GMV of ~$27B in temple offerings, services, and commerce. There are 2M+ temples in India - about 10k of these temples have a strong historical and cultural significance. Tourism to these religious places is a $10B opportunity. The Sri Mandir app is the world's largest app for Hindu devotees and growing 20-25% month-on-month.

Role Overview:

We're hiring a high-caliber Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) - Growth to work directly with the leadership team to identify, strategize, and execute high-impact growth initiatives across product, monetization, and partnerships.

This is a zero-to-one, founder's office-type role for someone with strong analytical and operational chops, who thrives in ambiguity and wants to build from scratch.

Key Responsibility:

- Work directly with leadership to identify growth opportunities across product, markets, and user segments.

- Define and launch 0- 1 initiatives to unlock new revenue or engagement levers.

- Lead deep-dive market research, user studies, and competitor benchmarking.

- Drive high-impact cross-functional projects in D2C/commerce, subscriptions, or new business lines.

- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to implement strategic projects.

- Track KPIs, run experiments (A/B tests), and iterate quickly based on data.

- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of special growth projects-ideation to execution.

- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CBO and Head of Business.

Requirements:

- 4-6 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting (MBB), VC-backed startups, or D2C/eCommerce businesses.

- Exceptional problem-solving and first-principles thinking.

- Strong business acumen and ability to drive data-backed decision making.

- High ownership mindset and ability to operate with minimal structure.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience launching or scaling 0- 1 initiatives is a huge plus.

- Prior exposure to faith, content, or community-driven platforms is a bonus-but not mandatory.

Preferred Requirement:

- Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment like early-stage startups or founder's office.

- Hands-on experience in D2C or consumer-tech products with scale (e.g., subscriptions, commerce, engagement loops).

- Experience owning OKRs and cross-functional strategic initiatives.

- Familiarity with product analytics tools and A/B testing frameworks.

- Exposure to user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies.

- Prior experience in hypothesis-led market experiments or launching new verticals.
