Responsibilities-
We are currently looking for Enterprise Business Development heads, in major cities in India. This role will focus on executing our ambitious business development plans across mid-sized (- 500) and large (- 5000) enterprises in India. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:-
- Define the sales strategy to build a strong pipeline of clients. Prospect and source new clients through introductions, conferences / networking events and other outbound sales activities
- Hire and develop a sales team, set targets, coach and nurture the team and create structure
- Meet with CEOs, COOs, IT Executives & other key stakeholders to pitch their product. Navigate organizations and persuade decision makers of the company value in mission critical business functions
- Work through complex sales cycles and purchasing process to win new accounts
- Identify, build relationships and manage partners involved in the sales cycle
- Tailor pitch materials to needs of clients
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of client's business and build cost benefit analysis to help the client understand the impact of their solution
- Conduct pricing and contract negotiations with senior decision makers
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and constantly tweak sales strategy to remain competitive
- Create strategic partnerships, appoint channel partners for key markets within and outside of India.
- Work closely with the Product team to infuse market intelligence and key business learning into newer product features and versions
Requirements
- You have a postgraduate degree in Business/ Management from a premium B-school along with a degree in engineering, preferably in Computer Science.
- You have 6+ years of experience in Business development, Sales, Customer Acquisition, or Account Management in the Technology industry, preferably in the B2B SaaS space or hands on experience in deploying ERP softwares.
- You must have good knowledge and connections with FMCG and PHARMA industries.
- You have immaculate selling skills and can deliver the most effectively targeted pitches.
- You are meticulous in your follow-ups, very well organized. Nothing ever slips through the cracks and you communicate with every lead regularly without fail.
- You possess the ability to work with aggressive targets, and think of out-of-the-box solutions when in a deadlock.
- You display great leadership, and can motivate and inspire the team to meet their targets.
- You are very hands on and believe in getting things done effectively.
- You have the ability to assess market trends, shape sales strategies and generate ideas for product development.
- You possess excellent communication skills, can elucidate goals and reach agreements maintaining the interests of all departments.
- You take great pride in being an excellent networker; and have the capability to build and maintain strong and lasting business relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
