Job Description - As the Application delivery manager, you will involve yourself with delivery of change and management of the configuration that operates within the VA environment. You have the ownership of infrastructure, application design and development, system testing, deployment and implementation of the solutions. One will be expected to gain knowledge of the end to end VA environment focusing on the interfaces to the Line of Business applications. You are expected to have good knowledge of:

- SWIFT

- UNIX

- Oracle 11

- Java PL/SQL

- As the team leader you will be expected to:

- Create detailed design specifications

- Deliver Code changes, configuration changes and Unit Testing

- Preparation and execution of Systems Test scripts

- Providing support to the User Acceptance Testing team

- Preparation of Implementation & Backout plans

- Creation of support handover documentation

- Liaise with technical infrastructure

- Liaise with architecture teams to ensure delivery of required products

- Ability to mentor less experienced developers and be able to work independently

The Successful Candidate - You will have the ability to:

- Work under pressure to resolve issues, excellent analytical skills

- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal

- Have the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external teams, with dotted line reporting

- Ability to identify, escalate and resolve potential issues that may affect service

- Possess a good appreciation of controlled change management in a highly critical environment
