Apple Orchard General Manager

- Direct and coordinate the overall operations of the orchard.

- Manage a team of regular and seasonal employees. Responsible for leadership, hiring, training and coaching in a harmonious working climate, while maximizing employee morale and productivity.

- Overall operations of the orchard, including orchard development, irrigation, application/pest management, pruning, trellising, grafting and harvesting.

- Establish goals, direction and vision while strategically planning all projects with the owners.

- Identify equipment improvements, changes and/or replacements.

- Budget and manage orchard to ensure efficient/profitable operations and ongoing fiscal responsibilities.

- Proven ability to communicate and work with all levels of management.

Qualification And Experience:

1. Should have 10+ years of work experience in managing independently preferably Project management of Agro infrastructure project/ Food parks/Mega Food Parks

2. Experience in managing multi-stakeholder programs and demonstrated ability to work with efficiency, particularly as part of team efforts.

3. Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

4. Proven ability to effectively build and manage a team-oriented culture.

5. Must have a mechanical aptitude, irrigation knowledge, pruning and trellising.

6. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communications skills.

7. Possess computer literacy with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
