Manager Application Development - Analytic & Forensic Technology for a Big 4 MNC @ Hyderabad

Directing and performing the gathering, standardization, and analysis of voluminous transactional electronic data (e.g., banking records, general ledgers, broker-dealer records, sales and inventory data, etc.) The candidate should have market-building capabilities and experience with advanced and predictive analytics.

AFT- AD Managers can expect to do some or all of the following:

- Create, manage, and utilize high performance relational databases (SQL Server 2008, Oracle 10g, Microsoft Access, OLAP and other proprietary software).

- Query and mine large data sets to discover transaction patterns, examine financial data and filter for targeted information - using traditional as well as predictive/advanced analytic methodologies.

- Participate in the design and development of user-defined application modules (standard and web based), perform data quality control, develop database reports and user interfaces, and normalize relational data.

- Supervise, lead, and train junior associates in the aforementioned activities.

- Provide input with respect to practice technology initiatives and investments.

- Contribute to resource requirement planning, project workflow and budget preparation, and facilitate billing and collection processes.

- Begin to develop and maintain client relationships.

- Network and negotiate to identify and sell potential new services or expand existing engagements.

- Prepare and present complex written and verbal materials (reports, findings and presentations).

REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidates should have 8 – 10 years experience mining and analyzing transactional electronic data.

- Candidates should also have an undergraduate degree in one or more of the following from an accredited college/university (or significant related employment experience):

- A dual major/minor combination including Computer Science or Management Information Systems and Business (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics).

- Electrical or other related Engineering disciplines.

- Management Information Systems.

- Mathematics or Statistics.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is required and competency with any of the following strengthens a Manager's candidacy:

- Microsoft SQL Server (*),

- Microsoft C#, Visual Basic .Net, VB or VBA,

- Microsoft ASP .Net,

- HTML,

- JavaScript and the JQuery framework,

- CSS and user interface design and,

- System Administration.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as demonstrable evidence of effective team interactions, client relationship development, task management, and a working knowledge of anti-fraud/corruption/bribery tools and rule sets.
