We successfully deliver robust patient outcomes by staffing each Sugar clinic with best in class multi-disciplinary care teams of doctors, dieticians, trained diabetes specific nurses and counselors, backed with proven treatment protocols and lifestyle management interventions to enable our customers to keep their Diabetes in good control and live a disease free lifestyle. We currently have 30 Apollo Sugar clinics that are operational pan India across major cities, and are fast scaling up to our footprint to help provide proven, quality care for millions of more diabetic patients across India.

Desired Profile & Role Description

This would be an excellent career movement for a young Innovative marketing professional possesses strategic thinking with hands-on expertise in the areas of consumer marketing and brand management. Desired marketing champion, who could lead strategic marketing initiatives to establish this brand & build a big success story across India & Abroad. We are looking for people with 5-8 years of retail, consumer focused marketing experience. This role would be a dream job which offers the right mid-career stage candidate a fast career progression opportunity to build a decisive and focused brand in the retail Healthcare category with a combination of strong & most reputed Indian promoters and top tier MNCs behind the brand. The role offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to position Apollo Sugar as a brand extension of Apollo (hence transferring all the power and brand equity of India’s leading Healthcare group), while balancing the need to create a distinct and focused identity for Apollo Sugar to become synonymous with quality Diabetes care (one of the largest Health issues facing the current generation of India’s healthcare consumers). A few attributes of the ideal candidate’s profile include:

1. Industry experience in consumer focused industries, preferably CPG, FMCG, or BFSI. Desired marketing champion should have marketing experience in a service based industry, in addition to product based industry. Strong Marketing professionals from an Agency background, would be from a Strategic planner or Account manager profile. Healthcare exposure is appreciated, but is not mandatory for this role.

2. Functional experience in relevant aspects of brand management:

Experience/ exposure to consumer Insights, quantitative and qualitative research into customer behavior, stated and unstated needs.

Value proposition development, segmented brand messaging to TGs,

Experience in on-ground marketing activation efforts in retail service based offerings with innovative marketing practices.

Managing creative agency deliverables and/or previous work ex in a creative agency,

Managing PR activities, ability to use PR as a lever to position as thought leaders, and acquire customers.

Understanding and appreciation for Digital mediums as an engagement and customer acquisition mechanism,

Fluency and ease in managing both the strategic and tactical aspects of consumer centric marketing plans.

3. Ability and comfort to operate in a fluid, startup environment. While we have strong, top-tier corporate parents backing us, the culture and rhythm of Apollo Sugar is closer to a startups. Therefore, the candidate must be comfortable interacting across functions, dealing with fast paced change, creatively maximize impact from smaller sized budgets than what are typical in larger companies, and have persistent ability to execute well while taking accountability for results.

4. Other attributes include:

Active and experienced in ATL and BTL activities, Can work as think tank / an Idea factory to promote the brand in Market

Excellent communication skills, Multi-tasking,

Team worker and leadership skills required

Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude

MBA (Marketing) Preferably from a reputed Institute

Additional Detail - Key Responsibilities

- Manage & enhance the company’s brand and reputation in the public’s eye. Ensure brand consistency. Identify brand building areas of focus. Coordinate objectives with marketing, creative, and advertising departments.

- Drive & executive brand management plans. Create & enhance agency & partner relationship.

- Drive footfall through all the possible ATL activities for the Organization.

- Interface with Agency for all the deliverables on time & supporting Activation team for all marketing related collaterals/ designs/ artwork etc requirements.

- Responsible for Communication through all relevant channels like PR, External, Internal, Social, Digital etc.

- Design & institutionalize complete 360 degree media planning.

- Taking new business initiatives supporting marketing, branding initiatives across business locations.

- Coordinate and manage content management and information sharing among departments, divisions and external customers and divisions.

- Ensure working on Digital Marketing (end to end initiatives) as per business requirements

- Responsible for consistent engagement of internal customers by building robust internal communication platform.

- Development & Regular updates of company website as per business requirements.

- Leverage consumer insight database to refine brand management.

- Analyse and support both category and cluster/ clinical marketing plans to align with brand strategy and achieve annual operating plan goals.
