Category Manager
Strategy & Planning:
- Define and create a long-term strategy across categories for consumers
- Build ways to have a sharp track of consumer preferences, market, and competitors
- Plan & achieve Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual targets keeping Org objectives on track
- P&L Ownership
- Own the top line and the bottom line for the categories to drive revenue and margins
- Formulate and execute pricing strategy based on market potential, consumer insights, margins, or competitive signals
- Drive & execute monthly calendar for seasonal, occasional, and platform-level campaigns
- Collaborate with the product and marketing team for the merchandising and cataloging on the platform with top-line and bottom-line tracks
- Coordinate improvements in discovery, search, navigation, and merchandising
Cross-Functional collaborations:
- Working closely with the Network & Growth team, understanding and solving from the Community Leader's perspective.
Skills Required:
- The candidate should have high ownership with a strong bent for speed and action with data-driven inputs and experimentation.
- Strong in analytics, data-driven experimentation, and problem-solving.
- Assertive with a collaborative attitude & experienced in managing a team of mid to senior-level people.
- Experience and knowledge of assortment in multiple geographies is an added advantage.
- Preferred experience working in high-growth startups.
- Understanding consumer behaviour and their needs.
