The Role:

- This role will allow you to learn and apply SEO best practices across a variety of campaigns for our clients. This role's primary responsibility will be to support the optimization of our SEO clients' online performance while also helping us increase customer retention.

- Responsibilities include launching new campaigns, learning how to troubleshoot errors throughout the campaign life cycle and campaign analysis. If you love to solve problems and analyze data, this role could be perfect for you! This position requires a daily presence in our Gurgaon office.

Main Responsibilities:

- Optimize, claim and verify Google, Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp and other important local listings.

- Complete link building activities including cleaning up accuracy on local listings as well as building new links on relevant directories

- Assist in setting up SEO websites for launch including writing title tags and meta descriptions, implementing Google Search Console and Google Analytics codes and QAing site for SEO best practices

- Complete SEO fulfillment project tasks in a timely and successful fashion

- Perform topical research and competitive analysis to create content optimization strategy for new and current accounts and tweak with feedback from your manager

- Create site architecture and sitemap for clients' websites

- Follow the campaign through its life cycle and complete audits for on and off website fixes to keep the campaign performing at or above goals

- This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in marketing, or any other related field

- 3+ years of direct SEO experience, preferably with a digital agency

- Excitement about online marketing and an interest in technology

- Previous experience with client interaction

- Ability to deal with demanding clients

- Highly organized, quick learner, proactive, persistent, accurate and with a positive attitude

- Polished communication skills with both strong written and verbal skills - must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner

- Strong analytic skills to assess shifts in performance and adjust campaigns quickly to stay on top of the search engines

- Strong project management skills

- Familiarity of major search engine algorithms and updates is a plus

- Google Adwords and/or Bing Ads management is a plus

- Must work well under pressure both autonomously as well as part of a team

- Proficient in MS office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
