Responsibilities:
1. Define and communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and goals for the platform product
2. Research, analyze, understand and prioritize customer needs, market trends, competitive opportunities, and business objectives and translate them into requirements. Continuously monitor product performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for enhanced user experience.
3. Work closely with UX/UI teams to optimize the product interface and improve user engagement.
4. Leverage data analytics and user insights to identify growth opportunities and areas for product improvement.
5. Conduct A/B testing and analyze user behavior to optimize user acquisition, retention, and conversion rates.
6. Write clear and detailed product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes, assess whether engineering estimates are correct, review technical specifications
7. Work closely with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and Marketing. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
8. Manage the backlog, sprint planning, release planning, and feature prioritization for the backend and admin portal
9. Identify and resolve issues, risks, dependencies, and blockers for the features
10. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on the status, progress, and outcomes of product tasks
11. Adept at working with third parties, whether it's evaluating APIs and capabilities, mapping out integration plans or evaluating different technology options.
12. Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage.
13. Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
14. Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
2. 5+ years of experience in product management
3. Strong technical background and knowledge of backend systems, databases, APIs, web services, cloud platforms, etc.
4. Experience in managing complex web-based products or platforms with multiple user groups and functionalities
5. Should have customer-centric, business-focused mindset to apply to the task at hand
6. Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, Confluence, etc.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
10. An MBA/MCA degree is a good to have
