Associate Director - Finance
Role and Responsibilities:
- This is a high impact & critical role within the Finance team, which entails components of accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement & Finance infrastructure.
- An ambitious individual who can deal with ambiguity and is interested in working for a growth-phase company would be an ideal fit for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Procurement & Finance infrastructure.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements & reports.
- Establish and monitor the KPIs and SLAs on the A/R and A/P process.
- Oversee the Fixed assets process including review of FAR, monthly depreciation runs, supporting physical verification and ensuring accurate reporting in the financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Run the Payroll process.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Enable controls to have "Zero" non-compliances on regulatory matters.
- Understand and oversee the Special Economic Zone compliance.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven working experience in Finance operations.
- Chartered accountant with 10-15 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
