Position : Principal Data Scientist

Role : Advance Analytics SME / Technical Solution Consultant

Job Description :

- Lead in the design, implement and management of data mining, Advance predictive modeling solution, performance measures and the effective provision of advanced statistics, measurement, and research design methods.

- Define strategy and drive implementation for analytical solutions, tools and methodologies define new analytics offerings for industries.

- Build predictive models using SPSS, SAS, R and other statistical and data mining systems. Interpret and synthesize data from diverse sources using advanced mathematical and statistical theories and applications.

- Subject matter expert in Advance Analytics - including Solutions Definition and supporting sales activities. The person will be responsible for formulating a strategic vision and a tactical roadmap to meet clients' needs

- Key responsibilities include positioning Industry best analytical capabilities in complex solutions to meet our client's business needs. Leading workshops to drive out the requirements, leading proof of concept initiatives - or other sales techniques to secure the client's business. Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers goals, strategies and competition

Experience :

- PhD in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science or other quantitative field or MBA

- Strong analytical skills i.e. statistical forecasting, modeling & scenario planning, experience in digital analytics, social Media analytics, Text Mining

- 8+ years experience creating analytical solutions with preferable experience in any of the key industry such as Retail, Healthcare/Pharma, Manufacturing, Energy & Utility, BFSI

- Experience with statistical modeling software ( SAS, SAS E-miner, SPSS Modelar, R), database tools and enterprise business intelligence tools (Cognos, Business Objects or Tableau)

- Candidates will have excellent client relationship skills and performed successful negotiations. Ideal candidates will have experience developing winning proposals

- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-team environment with consulting experience across multiple domains, e.g., Sales, Marketing, CRM, Customer Service Supply Chain Analytics,
