Responsibilities :

- Develop a high performing and result-oriented engineering team

- Collaborate with other functional heads to align business vision with engineering.

- Manage challenging projects and oversee the complete product roadmap

- Establish processes and technologies to achieve engineering excellence and innovation

- Provide value-added expertise in engineering design. Take final decision on conflicts around technical solutions

- Create, improve and drive operational excellence, quality, security, and privacy initiatives across the entire engineering team

- Strong leadership ; clear goal setting, and managing to outcomes. Comfort in an ambiguous environment. Ability to create a structure where there is none

- Execution focused ; knows how to get things done

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications :

- 12+ years of experience in tech product companies and 5+ years in a leadership role

- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering is mandatory

- Strong technical and architecture design experience

- Hands-on experience in Python, Javascript, ReactJS is a plus.

- Hands-on experience in rabbitMQ, Postgresql, Redis, Mysql, Mongo DB is a plus.

- Understanding of SAAS products Tech stack like CRM, Chat, Support Tools, Task manager, etc.

- Strong skill in scaling B2B products in the B2C Scale. Scaling to millions of users.

- Hands-on experience in AWS architecture is a must.

- Prior experience with Agile methodologies, highly available, and distributed systems.

- Prior experience in the Multi-Product ecosystem is an added advantage.

- AI, chatbots, Video/AR experience complement but not mandatory.

- Experience in multi-platform architecture is plus like web, cloud, windows, Mac, Mobile, etc.

- Experience in Integration Engineering is plus like Salesforce, HubSpot, GSuite, etc

- Should have the understanding of API-first, AI-first, Mobile-first, Data-first & cloud-first world. Not to carry away by these industry trends instead understand where to use what.

- An ideal candidate holds a Startup DNA. Should be ready to fail & be flexible, ok to be unrealistic & pragmatic, know when to be tenacious & when to move on. Finally, take ownership and attitude to hustle around for deliverables.
