Manager - CRM, eMail, Direct Marketing
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities :
- Develop a single customer view by designing and deploying clear segmentation, and insight based database design
- Analyze CRM data to help develop customer personas and segments.
- Build out lifecycle-focused (email) strategies for awareness, acquisition, nursery and development campaigns across multiple countries.
- Develop, enhance and optimize customer metadata via tagging, tracking, and behavioral measurement plans across all communications tools and our paid, earned, and owned media
- Deploy email-marketing tools and campaigns for lead generation, engagement and awareness activities. Manage trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize sales.
- Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing remarketing strategies.
- A/B Testing on various email campaigns to establish the most effective.
- Tracking and reporting on email campaigns in order to guide improvements.
- Reporting to the marketing director on sales revenues generated through email marketing campaigns.
- Analyze, report and optimize the impact of campaigns and marketing activities on the existing customer base
- Lead and/or manage a team of email marketing specialists and communications- execution agencies across multiple countries
Skills & Experience :
- 5+ years of experience in CRM and/or email marketing roles.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Engineering, Analytics or related field.
- Proven track record of list and database management (e.g. Amazon RDS, My SQL,MailChimp etc)
- Proven track record in email marketing, automation, and optimization software (e.g. MailChimp, Responsys, Experian) or integrated CRM software.
- Understanding and/or hunger to learn new Sales and Marketing CRM softwares such as Zendesk, PipeDrive, SharpSpring etc.
- Data-driven approach: ability to understand and distinguish data from insights.
- Experience with email coding (HTML) and integration of third-party personalization
- Advanced project and people influencing skills that are needed to deliver great results in our work environment, as well as execution drive
- Ensuring all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry.
- Start-up experience desirable
Soft Skills :
- Capable of managing a small team and multiple projects
- Good eye for aesthetics: layouts and colour, Story-telling
- Self-starter and should be able to proceed with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Understanding and respect multi-cultural work environment
Scope of the Role :
- The role will have geographical coverage for all countries
- This role will interface with senior stakeholders and their teams
