Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Develop and execute SEO strategies:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for website optimisation.
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page optimisation strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices to adapt SEO strategies accordingly.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms to identify areas for improvement.
2. Technical SEO Optimisation:
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure technical SEO best practices are implemented, such as site speed optimisation, mobile optimisation, URL structure, and XML sitemaps.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
3. Content Optimisation:
- Collaborate with content writers to develop SEO-friendly content strategies, including keyword targeting, on-page optimisation, and content promotion.
- Optimise website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking, to improve organic search visibility.
- Provide guidance on content creation and optimisation to ensure it aligns with SEO objectives and best practices.
4. Link Building and Outreach:
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites.
- Identify and engage with influencers, bloggers, and other potential partners for content promotion and link-building opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse backlink profiles to identify and disavow harmful or low-quality links.
5. Performance Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions.
- Analyse data and provide actionable insights to optimise SEO strategies and improve performance.
- Communicate SEO performance and initiatives to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications or Requirements:
- Available to start ASAP
- 3+ years of experience working professionally in SEO with a demonstrated track record of creating and implementing SEO strategies that significantly enhance organic search results for online companies.
- Extensive familiarity with search engine best practices, algorithms, and ranking techniques, as well as a passion to stay abreast of news and trends in SEO and online marketing.
- Deep knowledge of technical SEO best practices and optimisations
- Experience carrying out effective, large-scale SEO campaigns, including acquiring external links and designing WordPress websites.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with content, design, communications, and product teams to drive SEO programmes forward in a highly effective manner.
- Knowledge of essential platforms for SEO analytics and research, as well as knowledge of a variety of third-party SEO analytics solutions.
- Strong communication and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SEO guidelines, with a deep understanding of keyword placement and other SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with computers, especially content management software and social media platforms, MS Office, and SEO keywords, a basic understanding of HTML
