Commercial Leasing/Office Leasing Role
Job Description:
The Commercial Leasing Manager is primarily responsible for generating transaction revenue through commercial leasing activities for the company. This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing targeted client relationships while also demonstrating knowledge of key real estate dynamics such as demand, supply, absorption, vacancy, and other related economic drivers.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Achieve Team Targets: Ensure the growth and oversee the achievement of team targets, profitability, and the continued viability of the service line.
Business Development: Generate a healthy pipeline of solid leads through various business development programs to identify prospective clients in need of office space.
Account Management: Utilize past hands-on experience in account management to manage and maintain individual account relationships.
Client Engagement: Present terms and conditions on properties, conduct property inspections, and negotiate on behalf of clients to conclude sale, purchase, or lease transactions.
Contractual Management: Follow up with clients and landlords on contractual deliverables such as payments and handover of space as agreed upon in the scope of work.
Budgeting and Planning: Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets pertaining to the allotted team.
Team Development: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth and aiding them in achieving excellence in their field.
Cross-Selling: Responsible for cross-selling other service lines to all clients to maximize business opportunities.
Systems and Processes: Plan and maintain systems and processes for both internal and external clients to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven leadership experience in real estate or demonstrated key leadership traits.
- Strong understanding of key real estate dynamics such as demand, supply, absorption, vacancy, etc.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in business development and client relationship management.
- Sound knowledge of contractual agreements and legal aspects of property transactions.
- Strategic thinking and ability to execute plans effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
