Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Jewellery Sales Expertise: Proven experience and knowledge in jewellery sales, including comprehensive understanding of gold, diamonds, and coloured stones.
- Customer Engagement: Greet and meet customers upon arrival, listen actively to understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service.
- Product Knowledge: Present information about jewellery collections, designs, weights, and calculations effectively to customers.
- Sales Conversion: Confidently convert inquiries to sales, displaying a natural passion for selling.
- Sales Software Proficiency: Use sales service software for billing and transaction processing.
- Inventory Management: Take responsibility for inventory control, including timely entry into the computer system, monthly stock checks, and accurate inventory reports.
- Target Achievement: Ability to set, follow, and meet sales targets set by the management.
- Client Relationship: Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, convert new clients to loyal customers, and identify sales opportunities through events and external engagement.
- Product Display & Arrangement: Ensure products are well-arranged, stored properly, and maintain a clean and appealing shop layout.
- Transaction Management: Efficiently operate cash registers and handle all financial transactions accurately.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure thorough documentation and procedures related to sales transactions are adhered to.
- Stock Movement Control: Maintain full control over stock maintenance, movement, and tracking across locations. Implement and oversee weekly and monthly stock checks.
Systems & Inventory Control:
- Product Imagery & Input: Maintain and update images of new products in the system.
- Domestic & International Stock Control: Exercise control over both domestic and international inventory, ensuring all stock movements are tracked and tallied by location.
- Collaterals & Packaging: Maintain control over all packaging materials and related collaterals within the store location.
Brand Requirements:
- Jewellery Knowledge: Complete knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery collections.
- Sales Experience: Proven work experience in the jewellery industry.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel once every 3 months.
- Excel Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Excel for maintaining sales and inventory data.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to explain product features and services, providing satisfaction to customers.
- Capability to convert sales and maintain a passion for selling.
- Strong discipline in inventory management and stock control.
- Proactive in improving skills and knowledge, taking ownership of tasks.
