Job Title:
Business Head - Retail ( BellaVita)Role Overview - We're seeking a dynamic Business Head with retail expertise to lead our Retail Vertical. The ideal candidate will oversee overall P&L, drive retail strategy, foster growth, and spearhead marketing initiatives specific to the retail sector.
Responsibilities:1. Lead the crafting and execution of a strategic blueprint for
EBO/Store expansion, taking ownership of
P&L, ensuring robust
EBIDTA management, and establishing a strong store support infrastructure.
2. Lead the strategic planning and execution of new store openings, including site selection, lease negotiation, construction oversight, and staffing, ensuring successful expansion while maintaining brand standards and profitability.
3. Implement and maintain retail operational policies and procedures to incorporate a sales plan, cost control, shrinkage management and reduction, audit compliance and people management.
4. Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandise activities, determining additional
sales promotion, authorizing stock clearance, and studying trends.
5. Formulate and authorize manpower optimization strategies tailored to enhance retail operations.
6. Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to spot growth opportunities and improve strategies effectively.
7. Set and monitor
KPIs to track performance and ensure alignment with business goals, driving continuous improvement and accountability across the team.
8. Partner with the
L& D team and plan a comprehensive training programs to foster skill development and product knowledge, ensuring a cohesive and motivated workforce dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
9. Ensure adherence to
company policies, industry regulations, and health/safety standards to maintain operational integrity and uphold brand reputation.
10. Provide
regular reports and
insights to senior management on retail performance, market dynamics, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:1. Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred from
Tier 1 or 2 colleges.2. Proven experience of
5+ in a senior leadership role, preferably as a Business Head in Retail (from Personal care space) or similar, with a focus on P&L management, business strategy, and growth.
3. Strong
strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving business results and achieving financial targets.
4. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive a culture of excellence.
5. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
