Job Profile :

As a product manager you will be responsible for defining the - why, what, and when of the product that the engineering team will build. You will be the CEO of the product or feature - which means you'll lead cross-functional teams from a product's conception through to its launch.

- The process begins with identification and prioritization of requirements or features of the application and follows with getting sign-off from the management and conveying them to the development team. The product manager is also responsible for clarifying doubts from the development team and conducting a usability testing to sign off the release of the feature.

Responsibilities :

- Identifying features to be built basis business priorities; competitor analysis and long-term strategy

- Prioritizing the feature set and bundling them into sprints

- Liaise with different internal and external stakeholders and vendors to finalize the user story / Business requirement document for each feature that needs to be built

- Manage the end to end development process to ensure quality and on-time delivery of the feature set

- Conducting Usability testing and accepting or rejecting work results

- Be a part of Triage team and handle all technical issues being reported by the end customer

- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding and drive adoption of the product

- Collect feedback from end users; identify changes required and incorporate them into product roadmap

- This is the primary requirement as the job involved understanding the nuances involved in prevalent practices and processes across the industry and the organization and defining requirements for new features mitigating risks because of those nuances :

a) Good verbal and written communication skills

b) Ability to influence people

- Basic to good understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes

- Basic understanding of software development and testing

- Undergrad degree in a Computer Science or related stream which has good exposure to coding

- 1+ years of work experience in an IT firm in a technical role
