Manager/ Senior Manager – Analytics (RETAIL)
Responsibilities:
- Develop methodologies to support Analytical project execution for Retail clients
- Ability to solution any analytics project in Retail domain
- Supervise statistical models creation and other adhoc analysis to support clients
- Apply appropriate techniques, such as exploratory data analysis, regression, bootstrapping, trees, cluster analysis, survival analysis and so on
- Develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis
- Partner with client teams to understand business problems and marketing strategies
- Develop RetailL Analytics practice.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Drive creation of Value Offerings
- Manage a team of analytics resources to ensure that deliverables are met with quality and in a timely fashion.
- Performance management of the team
- Adhere to client SLA’s
Requirements:
- Overall experience, including quantitative analysis for Retail Prefer candidate with hands on experience in building statistical models. Prefer candidate with marketing/ distribution experience.
- MS in Statistics, Data Mining, Econometrics or related fields/ MBA in marketing
- A stint in business side (pre analytics experience) will be preferred
- Should have consulting skills/ project management experience
- Exposure to US Markets is preferred
- Strong ability to work in startup kind of environment
- Desire and ability to collaborate with business partners and drive initiatives
- Ability to tie analytic solutions to business/industry value and outcomes
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SAS / SQL or any other statistical tool.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Basic understanding of statistics
