Job Overview:.
- We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Creative Head Design to take the helm of our design team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading all design initiatives for AIM, ensuring that our visual storytelling is as compelling as our content.
- This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for design excellence, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of how design influences audience engagement and brand perception.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Design Leadership: Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a creative and collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
- Brand Strategy: Develop and execute a cohesive design strategy that aligns with AIM's brand vision and business objectives, enhancing the magazine's visual identity across all platforms.
- Creative Direction: Oversee the conceptualization and execution of all design projects, including magazine layouts, digital graphics, infographics, marketing collateral, and event materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with editorial, marketing, and product teams to ensure design consistency and effectiveness in delivering key messages.
- Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to keep AIM at the forefront of visual storytelling.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Innovation: Champion innovative design solutions that push the boundaries and set new standards in the industry.
- Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of design quality, ensuring all outputs are visually appealing, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Qualifications:.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior design role, with a proven track record of leading successful design projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative design projects, including print and digital media.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Experience in brand development and execution across various media platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
