Analytics Head - P&C Insurance Domain

We are urgently looking for a person for setting-up the Analytics Vertical in Trivandrum. The job details are as below.

Designation: Analytics Head

Salary expectations can go upto 50 Lacs

Our client is one of the world’s largest insurers and financial services companies.The company has grown from 25 employees in December 2003 to over 1500 employees today. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop an Analytics Team. This role will require strong leadership skills - setting out and implementing a vision for the team, developing the capability of the team and selling the analytic services across the Insurance business - from claims to marketing. A strong analytics background in P&C is required.

Requirements:

- 10 years plus of work experience in analytics. Experience of analytics in the P&C Insurance domain is mandatory.

- Experience of leading and developing a team.

- Experience of setting direction and strategy.

- Experience of working with offshore partners, and off-shoring technical process.

- Proven project management skills and a high level of attention to detail.

- Advanced proficiency in SAS is mandatory.

- Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Setting-up an Analytics Team, catering for a number of business divisions within.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships, identifying new opportunities to apply analytics to and selling the service to stakeholders in the business.

- Creating a structured development program to ensure advancement of skills in the team.

- Manage projects with offshore partners and off-shoring technical processes.

- Interpret customer requirements and define appropriate solutions to be implemented by the team.
