About this role -

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant.

This individual will be responsible for supporting the following team directives:

- Partnering with EC&O Issue Management teams to ensure data analytic needs are met. These include continuous automation, special projects, substantive testing support etc.

- Connect with the stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into automated solutions

- Navigating within technology environments to locate, validate, extract, and format data for data analysis

- Analyzing complex data and providing the analytic results in a user-friendly format

- Developing and maintaining program scripts used for data analysis, controls automation and controls testing.

- Communication of data analysis conclusions to management.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of analytic results.

- Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders related to assigned areas.

- Leading projects impacting the broader team.

Desired Qualifications and Experience -

- Masters degree in computer science, information systems, finance, business administration or equivalent

- Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, finance or business administration or equivalent

- 5-7 years of Tableau and SSRS experience

- 5-7 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Analytics, Reporting Automation, Finance, Accounting

- 5-7 years of experience with SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools

- Good understanding of programming languages and tools (SQL, SSIS etc.)

- Good knowledge of database designs, strategies (SQL Server/Oracle/Teradata etc.)

- Prior experience of working with US based teams

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to develop operational reporting and performing complex data analysis

- Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

Other Desired Qualifications

- Ability to gather business and data requirements; and perform data validation

- Experience building data visualization and/or reporting solutions through Tableau and SSRS.

- Knowledge of ETL processes, master file management.

- Ability to conceptualize and implement new analytic approaches and methodologies

- Strong critical thinking skills with ability to credibly challenge status quo; significant experience with continuous improvement of IT control testing processes and results

- Strong relationship management skills; ability to negotiate difficult positions without harming relationships
