Analyst - Transaction Reporting Control/Regulatory Reporting

This job description outlines a role focused on regulatory reporting, particularly for EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation) and its updates under the Regulatory Fitness Program (EMIR re-fit). The position ensures that transaction reports are complete, accurate, and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate within the Transaction Reporting Control framework to monitor and ensure compliance.

- Investigate and analyze exceptions in transaction reports.

- Collaborate with Middle Office, Front Office, and Technology teams to resolve issues.

- Document exceptions, produce management information system (MIS) reports, and represent the function in internal forums.

- Engage with senior stakeholders to discuss issues and solutions.

Requirements:

- Post-graduate education.

- 7-9 years of experience in financial markets and regulatory reporting.

- Strong knowledge of global financial markets and products (FX, Interest Rate, Equity, Credit, Commodity).

- Understanding of regulatory bodies and frameworks (CFTC, EMIR, MIFID, SFTR, HKMA).

- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.

- Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with data mining tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx).

- Ability to improve processes and drive initiatives.

- The job is based in Hyderabad and Mumbai, with working hours from 12:30 PM to 09:30 PM.
