Objective:
- A multifaceted role encompassing a variety of responsibilities including supporting business development function in proposal formulation, financial analysis, and more generally market and opportunity analysis for various Cooling as a Service & District Cooling transactions (greenfield or brownfield).
- It will include cultivating a robust online presence and driving strategic market initiatives and partnerships with multilaterals, think-tanks, OEMs, governments and other relevant stakeholders to establish Tabreed's presence in the Indian market, to create the district cooling market in India for wider adoption sustainable cooling.
- Further, the role will also encompass strategic communication activities, which are closely linked to and drive market creation
Description:
Strategy, Market Development & Partnerships:
- Conduct thorough market research & analysis to identify market dynamics and trends to inform the company strategy for accelerated adoption of District Cooling Systems (DCS)/Cooling-as-a-Service (CAAS) opportunities
- Formulate strategies and outreach plans for engaging with market stakeholders across the value chain with the aim of increasing uptake of District Cooling Systems (DCS)/Cooling-as-a-Service (CAAS)
- Maintain relationships with customers and support in developing new relationships. This would involve being fully aware of Tabreed's service offerings and latest trends in the industry to offer relevant insight and advice to customers
- Support strategy formulation and prepare presentations for the Executive Management Committee, the Board and other internal stakeholders
- Support ongoing government, regulatory body or other key industry participants engagement activities being led and managed by the BD team to condition the market for a future pipeline of district cooling opportunities
- Create and support dissemination knowledge products (papers, events, etc) based on market understanding, case studies of projects implemented, etc.
- Extend support as required for strategic communication efforts of the company
Business Development:
- Continuously review market opportunities
- Prepare proposals and offers for customers which are comprehensive in scope and compelling in their presentation to ensure the customer see full value of working with Tabreed
- Work with Projects and Engineering departments to develop technical solutions for new projects/proposals
- Perform financial and business analysis, in support of new business development projects, pricing alternatives and other business strategies
- Conduct needed due diligence activities of potential investments incl. analysis of risks associated with new projects
- Support the Reporting Manager(s) BD through contract structuring, contract negotiation, and project development process for execution of new project wins
- Work collaboratively with various departments internally and across the parent company in leveraging the group's capabilities to proposing fit for purpose solutions to customers
Policies & Procedures:
- Follows all relevant Department/Unit policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Ensuring the organization adheres to legal frameworks in areas such as discipline & grievance, redundancy, and employment law
Health, Safety & Environment:
- Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters' Degree in Economics/Finance or Business Administration (MBA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or any related discipline
Minimum Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant post qualification experience across the varied responsibilities, preferably in CEO's office or Growth teams or Strategy or Business Development or Business Consulting or equivalent
- 2 years' experience in a development function with other energy utilities including renewables, power, gas or waste management organizations preferable (preferred)
- Hands-on experience in financial analysis, modelling, proposal formulation and presentations
- Ability to liaise effectively, and coordinate with senior and high-level stakeholders across the value chain (govt., multilateral, etc.), internal project teams and vendors
- Basic knowledge of or interest in climate science and ability to engage with audience on similar lines

Salary Offered : 10+ LPA
