Role Upstream SME - Oil & Gas

Assignment Description Upstream SME in Oil & Gas industry

Requirements - MANDATORY -Significant IT experience in oil and gas sector

- ITIL Certified or experienced in operation of ITIL Processes, (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)

- MANDATORY - Experience in Wells Software applications such as Insite, Openwire, PI Realtime, and relevant industry standards such as WITSML

- MANDATORY - with the Drilling and Wells business with a sound understanding of the Wells Workflow and terminology

- Ability to troubleshoot data flow issues from Rig to Real Time Operations Center

- MANDATORY -General TCP/IP knowledge, Network Firewall & VPN configuration and maintenance skills

- MANDATORY -Client and server technologies physical and virtual, Windows, VMware

- MANDATORY - Experience with database technologies such as MS SQL Monitoring tools such as Nagios

- MANDATORY -Experience operating in a Global Support model as working as part of a diverse virtual team with multi vendor support.

- MANDATORY -Clear and proficient knowledge of the English language and excellent communications skills on the phone and F2F

- Knowledge of Geology, sedimentary basin, Exploration & Production, Reservoir and Well data interpetation, drilling Engineering

- Knowledge of various cost drivers and budgetary components

Criteria Should have 8+ years- experience in the Oil & Gas industry either with clients or in IT Services organisations who specialize in Oil & Gas sector

B.Tech in Applied Petroleum Engineering (Upstream Specialization / Gas Engineering ) / B.Tech Computer Science (Oil & Gas Specialization)

Should have experience in working with large Oil & Gas clients

Skills Strong Upstream domain skills.

Should have ITIL knowledge

Experience in Rtime applications
