Analyst/Senior Analyst - RISK & LIQUIDITY Operations

The Risk & Liquidity Operations Group's primary mission is to ensure complete and accurate firm-wide wholesale risk & liquidity transaction and position data provided from authoritative sources primarily for Risk Management and Regulatory Reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- This position will require a balance of technical skill and business focus and will eventually expose the individual to gain experience across all business product groups (eg. Cash Securities, Traditional Credit Products, Derivatives) RISC Operations activities (eg. Credit Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Finance, and Liquidity Risk).

- Responsibilities will cover analyzing the data quality of the strategic ODS data store. Analyst will be responsible for reviewing the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of the feeds with other operational and technology partners and participates in investigating any issues.

- Responsibilities will cover performing reconciliation between credit products with the General Ledger.

- The Analyst will need to coordinate with our technology partners, business teams in understanding and remediating data quality issues.

- The position requires ability to analyze large volume of data and perform data analytics.

- This position requires a sharp focus on the continuous improvements / enhancements and innovations to fix the data quality issues / manual work around.

- This position also requires very good written and spoken communication in order to approach various Risk reporting teams, Operations, technology and Operate teams and to maintain a level of client partnership

Essential Skills & Experience :

- Bachelor's Degree

- 4+ years professional experience

- Strong team player and desire to face dynamic and challenging environment-

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills-

- Extremely organized and control oriented to handle diverse workload

- Strong technical skills around MS Excel and MS Access-

- Strong Analytical skills

Preferred Skills & Experience :

- Knowledge of the credit & Liquidity risk systems as well as financial applications a plus
